The CDL Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, materials, or passengers while adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent time management skills, and a professional demeanor.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (Class A, B, or C depending on the role).
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, box trucks, or passenger buses, as applicable.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy cargo and work in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Transport necessary goods or job materials to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and hours of service using electronic logging devices (ELDs) or paper logs.
• Follow designated routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary due to traffic or road conditions.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company protocols.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Handle basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude at all times.
