About The Position

This position is responsible for transporting and delivering product to and from specified locations within a designated geographic area. This will be a non-typical OTR Trucking position with Home Nightly capabilities.

Requirements

• CDL class A driver's license and ability to drive vehicle required
• 1-2 years prior driving experience preferred
• Squeaky clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Basic computer knowledge and skills
• Basic forklift operation knowledge and experience
• Basic knowledge and experience in warehouse operations
• Solid communications skills
• Basic knowledge and experience in equipment requiring involved set up, adjustments, and operational procedures
• Ability to work in cold temperatures, the Distribution Center is a refrigerated (42° - 45° Fahrenheit) and ambient temperature warehouse

Responsibilities

• Drive class A vehicles within local market
• Arrange goods and ensure they are well-secured
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles
• Follow appropriate transportation safety procedures
• Maintain contact with dispatch as necessary
• Perform daily warehouse functions, including cleaning, stocking delivery trucks, and maintaining equipment
• Adjust outstanding orders, input information, maintain logs, records, and legal shipping documents
• Facilitate the flow of products through the warehouse
• Organize and predict space needs of multiple storage facilities
• Operate warehouse related equipment (e.g., forklift trucks)
• Conduct and process monthly inventory in accordance with ATF, and state and local regulations
• Ensure that quality assurance measures and processes are adhered to in warehouse operations
• Other projects and duties as assigned
