Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Proven experience as a CDL driver, preferably with local delivery routes
• Clean driving record with a focus on safety
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various local destinations
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure secure transportation
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and operational standards
