About The Position

CDL Driver Local to Zelienople/Pittsburg, PA area The Class A Commercial Driver is responsible for moving oil field fleet equipment safely between locations. This is a "home daily" position but requires substantial travel on a scheduled basis with on-call expectations. Position Details FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Status: Full-time Amount of Travel Required: 75-100% Reports to: DOT Compliance/Logistics Coordinator Direct Reports: None Work Schedule: Maintains a flexible work schedule to meet the demands of industry – hours may be long and irregular. Requirements

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
1 - 3 years verifiable work experience with heavy equipment and/or over the road vehicles along with basic mechanical abilities to work in shop area and location as needed.
Must have a valid driver's license, meet minimum driving standards for company insurance purposes, and successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and DOT physical.

Nice To Haves

Heavy haul and previous oilfield experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Must maintain a valid CDL-A license with a good record and no major violations.
Drive company equipment as needed, including hot shots as required.
Complete tasks in the shop areas as requested by management.
Perform complete pre- and post-trip inspections of all equipment to reduce/eliminate breakdowns.
Must be able to operate safely within high traffic/congested areas as well as very rural areas.
Complete log book and other paperwork meeting all DOT and company record keeping requirements.
Adhere to published CDL driver schedule and effectively communicate changes, requests for time off, etc. to immediate supervisor.
Follow all company safety policies, guidelines, and initiatives at all times.
Other project as assigned by management.
