About The Position

TA Services is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers with at least 2 years of CDL driving experience. The route will be two trips per day from Janesville to Mineral Point. Shift: Flexibility a MUST TBD

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving
• Must be at least 23 years old
• No DWI/DUI on MVR in the past 3 years
• No more than one at-fault accident on MVR within the past 3 years
• Must pass pre-employment physical and DOT drug screen
• Ability to operate a manual transmission

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in commercial driving or similar transportation roles preferred
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and basic vehicle maintenance
• Comfortable with GPS and route planning technology
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Willingness to jump in where needed
• "Whatever it takes" mentality
• Safety-minded and dependable

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and/or raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail/distribution centers
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, along with light preventative maintenance
• Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and internal company policies
• Safely maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly

Benefits

• $27.50/hr
• Accrue up to five days PTO in first year.
