About The Position

Cooper-Booth Transportation (CBT) is a dependable, professional, and safety-focused transportation delivery service throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Our fleet supports the distribution of foodservice, grocery, tobacco, and general merchandise products for Cooper-Booth Wholesale. Position Summary: CBW is launching a Domicile Driver position to support expanding operations in the North Carolina/South Carolina region . We are seeking qualified CDL drivers interested in routes in the NC/SC area. This role is ideal for self-starting drivers looking for consistent Class A miles and pay, temporary change of pace, and the opportunity to be a part of a pilot program that could scale as CBW continues to grow. Compensation (paid weekly) : Up to $80,000 in your first year. Compensation is on a formula basis, based on the routes you deliver.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A or B CDL License with a clean driving record for the past three years.
  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years of CDL Driving experience.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and maneuvering packages throughout the shift.
  • A safety-first mindset and willingness to follow FMCSA and DOT policies and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to self-manage in a lightly supervised setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in physical labor, warehouse work, or delivery is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport and deliver products to convenience stores.
  • Unload trucks using a handcard and food service ramp.
  • Handle 500 - 700 packages per day, with some weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and delivery protocols.
  • Ability to deliver within store fixed route delivery windows
