About The Position

About the position: Select’s CDL Driver - Night is responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight during overnight hours.

Requirements

0 to 2 years of related working experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to pass a DOT pre-employment physical.
Decision-making skills.
Oral communication skills.
Customer service skills.
Detail oriented.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Attentiveness.
Ability to understand and follow directions.
Clean driving record.
Vision.
Highschool diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
Loads and unloads truck as required.
Ensures the truck and driver are compliant with all DOT requirements.
Maintains driver qualification records, time and driving records.
Operates the truck in a safe manner following all Select’s driving policies.
Possess a CDL license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select’s insurance guidelines.
