About The Position

The Driver is responsible for identifying items ordered, obtaining product from coolers, moving the product to staging area using electric pallet jacks, then loading items onto trucks for delivery. He is also responsible for delivery and unloading of the truck at designated customer location.

Requirements

• Must obtain a current CDL license – Class A

Responsibilities

• Obtain Bills of Lading from office and proof all product ready to be loaded for delivery.
• Using a Pallet Jack, move goods onto truck making sure product is secure on both the pallet and the truck.
• Perform vehicle pre and post trip inspection prior to leaving and returning to/from your delivery.
• Maintains driver log according to I.C.C. regulations
• Operate CDL vehicle according to DOT regulations capable of safely maneuvering size of truck being used.
• Service truck with oil, fuel, and radiator fluid to maintain tractor-trailer and reefer.
• Unload produce at customer’s location via pallet jack to designated area/coolers per customers.
• Operate Pallet Jack in a manner to permit safe operation following equipment operational guidelines.
