About The Position

QXO is the fastest growing publicly traded distributor of building products in North America, aiming to become a tech-enabled leader in the $800 billion building products distribution industry. This role is for a CDL Driver responsible for performing touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs. Key responsibilities include pre-inspecting the truck, loading materials, verifying load accuracy, notifying branch management of potential hazards, setting up job parameters, inspecting sites for safety during loading and unloading, and maintaining regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely product delivery. The driver must also adhere to all DOT and company safety procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Experience operating heavy equipment
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
