About The Position

Responsible for morning Home to School and/or afternoon School to Home daily route driving and driving for field trips and sports trips.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have clean driving record.
• CDL with P & S Endorsements
• Must have ability to communicate effectively both orally and written
• Maintain professional appearance at all times.
• Should be able to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime if needed.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties required for this position.
• Willingness to submit to fingerprinting, a background check, and drug and alcohol testing consistent with employee handbook and work rules.

Responsibilities

• Drive school buses for route, sports and field trips as needed.
• DOT Pre and post trip inspections of vehicle
• Complete daily student manifest
• Daily use of vehicle technology
• Complete mandatory monthly safety trainings
• Clean and fuel buses as needed
• Other duties as assigned
