Great Pay – Starting rate is $30–$32.50/hour. The pay range for CDL drivers at this site is $30-38/hour. Early Shifts – Start your day early (as early as 3 AM) and finish with time to enjoy the afternoon. What You’ll Do: Operate a garbage truck safely on designated routes in and around St. Helena. Read route sheets and service each customer as scheduled. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance. Load and unload waste materials—sometimes without a helper. Use hydraulic controls to lift and dispose of refuse. Interact courteously with customers and represent our company professionally. What You’ll Need: Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement. Valid medical card. 3+ years of CDL driving experience. Clean driving record. Ability to lift over 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions. Basic truck knowledge and ability to complete inspections. Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English. Work Conditions: Physically demanding work with heavy lifting and exposure to outdoor elements.
