About The Position

This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends. CDL Drivers License Required. Our role of Warehouse Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including general warehouse functions, inventory tracking and support of production. This position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor. Specific responsibilities include: Maintains a high level of health and safety standards Manages pick ticket orders Pulls warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements Ensures that orders are accurate Stages items correctly for delivery Plans and monitors product storage Oversees stock replenishment Ensures warehouse goals are met Shrink wraps products to pallets Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked and inventory is managed accurately Performs other general warehouse duties as needed Fill out forklift equipment log before using; report any problem to your immediate supervisor Help with daily cycle and verify locations Maintain a safe, clean, organized warehouse Load trucks and ensure that driver has all paperwork Additional Functions and Responsibilities: Effectively communicate with other departments to handle escalating issues in a timely manner. Uses a tractor and trailer combination or straight truck Fully trained on the loading dock, production line and at satellite warehouses Move raw materials, packaging, supplies and finished goods to and from the truck, trailer, warehouse, freezer, and cooler Load and unload ingredients, packaging and supplies from other facilities or outside sources Monitor, record and communicate movement of trailers in the drop lots Deliver finished goods to customers Pick up raw materials, packaging and supplies from vendors Perform daily checks Keep Monogram equipment in pristine condition, including cleaning and washing truck and trailers as needed Accurately complete all required paperwork Function as an effective team member while supporting the efforts and concepts of other departments. Support the mission, vision and values of Monogram Foods. Apply personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility and confidentiality in all areas of responsibility. Possess an enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach towards work and all work projects. Maintain a neat and organized work area Assist in the training of new employees Work with enthusiasm and sense of urgency daily Must wear seatbelt while operating tractor or forklift. Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as provided Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards and good manufacturing practices Perform other duties as required or directed Ensure all trailers are sealed with each load Ensure doors are kept closed on all trailers, even when empty and in the trailer yard Perform inspections on trailers each day Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed in order to cover absences, vacation days or workload increase

Requirements

  • 1 or more years of professional related experience
  • CDL Class A (Commercial Driver’s License) required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have ability to use a computer
  • Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs. at a time
  • Must be able to work in a freezer
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Must be able to lift, stand, stoop where needed
  • Will need to work Saturday's as needed
  • Work outside in the elements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Experience Working in a Warehouse Preferred
  • Experience Working With an RF Scanner Preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
