This position as an armored truck Driver/Messenger is suitable for individuals over 21 who enjoy a fast-paced environment and new challenges. The role involves the safe and efficient transportation of valuables and requires comfort with heavy lifting. Strong people skills are essential for professional interaction with customers to maintain high standards of customer service. The Driver/Messenger is responsible for issuing and receiving confirmation receipts for transfers. Safety and security are paramount, requiring adherence to the highest levels of driver safety in all weather conditions and vigilance for customers, colleagues, and the community. All positions are armed, necessitating the acquisition and maintenance of required licenses for armored truck driver/messenger work in the respective area.

Requirements

21 years of age or older
Valid and clean driver’s license
Able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses on a current basis as required by state regulations
Strong customer service skills
Can communicate effectively in person and by radio
Heavy lifting required (50lbs+)

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently transport valuables
Issue and receive confirmation receipts to verify each transfer
Follow the highest levels of driver safety in all weather conditions
Be vigilant in all areas for customers, colleagues, and the community
Act in a professional manner and interact with customers to develop a rapport that meets high standards of customer service
Operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions
