CDL Driver
About The Position
Monday through Friday we run a Day Camp program where we do a morning and afternoon pick up/drop off, accompanied by at least 2-3 additional counselors, we pick up campers from the Jefferson Middle School in Winston Salem and transports them to Camp Hanes for the day. In the addition some Sunday’s we pick up campers from either a bus or school location to be at camp for the week that are then brought back to that location on Friday mid day. Typically, bus drivers spend three hours in the morning and afternoon (6 hours total) picking up and dropping off campers daily. There are also additional hours available throughout the week for teen off site trips for our community service trips based upon camp needs and driver availability. Bus drivers are also responsible for daily maintenance checks and fueling. Schedule: Varied hours may be 5:30 – 8:30 am and 4:00-7:00 pm Monday-Friday AND/OR Sunday from 11:30am- 3:30 and Friday 11:30- 3:30.Varied weekday hours from week to week for additional trips.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have at least 6 months of driving experience
- Hold either a Class B or Class C commercial driver's license (CDL)
