About The Position

The Driver is responsible for the timely and safe transportation of residents to various individual and group activities/functions and medical appointments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) months’ experience as a bus/van driver required.
• CDL Driver with Passenger Endorsement

Responsibilities

• Drive vans, buses, or automobiles on regular schedules to meet residents’ needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
