About The Position

Ceres Environmental is a national leader in disaster recovery and debris management. When hurricanes, floods, wildfires, and other natural disasters strike, Ceres mobilize to restore communities. Our CDL Drivers are at the core of these recovery efforts -transporting debris, materials, and equipment to keep operations moving safely and efficiently. We are hiring CDL Drivers (Class A & B) for full-time temporary assignments to support disaster recovery operations. This role requires travel, extended hours, and the ability to work in challenging environments. It’s more than a driving job - it’s an opportunity to help communities rebuild in their time of greatest need.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or B license (with clean driving record).
• Minimum of 1–2 years CDL driving experience; hauling for construction/disaster recovery a plus.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Flexibility to deploy on short notice and work extended hours in disaster-affected areas.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT and company safety regulations.
• Transport debris, equipment, and materials to and from designated sites.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections; maintain logs and records accurately.
• Assist with loading/unloading and securing of materials.
• Follow site safety rules and wear required PPE at all times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and other team members.
• Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays during storm response.
