About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and safety-oriented CDL Driver to deliver lumber, building materials, and hardware products to customer locations. This role involves operating commercial vehicles such as flatbeds or box trucks, loading and unloading materials using equipment like forklifts or moffetts, and ensuring all loads are properly secured for transport. The driver is responsible for planning efficient delivery routes, completing deliveries on time, and maintaining accurate logs and paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations. Professional communication with customers, dispatch, and warehouse staff is essential, along with a commitment to providing excellent service at every stop.
Candidates must hold a valid Class A or B CDL. Prior experience transporting building materials and operating delivery equipment is preferred. The position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and following all safety procedures. Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to assist in the yard or warehouse when needed are important for success in this role.
