About The Position

About the Position: The Warehouse Associate & CDL Driver is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, sending, and delivering inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock, and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels. Duties will also include assisting production associates in chemical product handling, transfers, and batch making. The individual should have a strong propensity to want to excel in a very competitive industry, within a fast-growing company, where customer retention and a desire to grow both personally and professionally is a keen desire. The individual should have relevant work experience in the water treatment industry or a related field and will have the desire to begin building skills in both technical sales and customer management. The individual will be asked to provide support to the development of customer reviews for key clients and will be instrumental in the retention and growth of those key clients. This position may lead to career opportunities across a myriad of disciplines including technical sales, technical support, business development, people management, technical marketing, and more.

Requirements

  • Forklift training and experience is preferred but not required. (Certification & Training Provided)
  • High school graduation or GED required; preference will be given to a candidate with college experience.
  • Cross functionality is a necessary part of this position.
  • The successful candidate will contribute to the overall friendly, hardworking culture that GWT has established. ? Attention to detail and cleanliness are a must.
  • The successful candidate for this position must pass a post offer DOT drug screening and background check
  • Not an initial component of the position but might eventually evolve to require experience in Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Must be able to communicate in English and ability to read proficiently in English.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • CDL Valid Driver's license with Hazardous Materials endorsement.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Shipping and receiving responsibilities
  • Using forklift to load and unload trucks as well as move products around the warehouse as instructed
  • Preparing orders for shipment / picking and palletizing customer orders
  • Basic inventory management such as checking raw material and finished good inventory quantities and reporting to manager
  • Housekeeping and cleanliness duties / responsible for maintaining clean & organized environment
  • Stage orders for next day of deliveries
  • Chemical handling such as chemical transfers and batch making
  • Delivery of water treatment products, customer service at time of delivery, warehouse assignments, and other non-specified work duties.
