About The Position

The Position: We are hiring a CDL Driver/Warehouse Associate to add to our outstanding team. In this role you will support the operations team by transporting goods between the warehouse and jobsites, assisting with loading and unloading as necessary, and supporting the warehouse manager as needed. This is an hourly, non-exempt (overtime eligible) position that reports directly to the Warehouse Manager, This position requires weekend and after-hours availability from now through November. You will need to be available to start early and work extended days as needed. We are looking for someone who is highly safety-conscious, dependable, and who works well as part of a team. Requirements

CDL license is required along with an acceptable driving record
Commitment to being reliable - punctuality and attendance are critical
Positive, respectful and a proactive team player with the ability to communicate and work effectively with others
Able to effectively communicate verbally in English (bilingual in Spanish a plus)
Able to start your day early, work longer days and weekends as needed, and be flexible with schedule changes.
Ability to bend, squat, climb, crawl, kneel and lift frequently
Ability to lift 75 lbs., push 100 lbs. and have a full range of motion and dexterity.
Reliable transportation to and from work

Nice To Haves

OSHA certification is preferred
Previous warehouse experience preferred. Tenting experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

Oversee and assist in the safe loading and unloading of vehicles at both the Greenwich Tent warehouse and at jobsites using either forklifts or pallet jacks.
Follow all DOT/OSHA safety regulations, including pre-trip inspections, ELD logging (when required), PPE, etc.
Identify appropriate delivery routes to and from jobsites, considering truck restrictions and traffic patterns (Greenwich Tent will provide a truck GPS)
Drive to jobsites/vendor locations safely while obeying all traffic laws. Able to effectively maneuver a vehicle in a variety of locations, both residential and commercial.
Verify load safety and accuracy prior to departure
Maintain a clean truck/trailer, inside and out
Note any mechanical or vehicle problems promptly
Additional duties, as assigned
