About The Position

Rugby Architectural Building Products is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This position involves delivering mostly hardwood lumber and sheet stock, doors, and other supplies to our customers. The role requires physical loading and unloading of products and engaging with customers. We operate out of 26 branches throughout the United States, focusing on non-structural architectural grade building products for various markets including commercial, industrial, retail, residential, and institutional.

Requirements

• History of being a truck driver, delivery driver, and especially experience with a Class A CDL.
• Strong physical stamina as this role requires a lot of physical activity.
• Highly organized and self-motivated; a self-starter who doesn't require constant supervision.
• Experienced driver with a Class A driver's license (CDL A) and medical card.
• Able to pass drug test, background, Clearinghouse and motor vehicle pre-employment screen.
• Required to pass a driving test.
• Must be able to pass a physical examination as required by the U.S. Department of Transportation and provide a valid medical card.
• This role is a Safety Sensitive position and subject to routine drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Use your CDL A license to deliver products to our customers.
• Potentially load and unload your truck, depending on the customer.
• Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies.
• Occasionally lift heavy products to store, remove from storage, or load onto a truck.

Benefits
