About The Position

GovFirst is now hiring Snow Plow Operators for the 2025–2026 winter season for various Virginia locations. Whether you're a seasoned CDL driver or an independent owner -operator, we want YOU on our winter response team. Open Locations in these below districts for these residencies: Bristol, VA (Abingdon, Lebanon, Wise, Wytheville,Interstate 81 / Interstate 77) Culpeper, VA (Charlottesville, Louisa, Warrenton) Fredericksburg, VA (Fredericksburg, Northern Neck, Saluda) Hampton Roads, VA (Accomac, Franklin, Williamsburg) Lynchburg, VA (Appomattox, Farmville, Halifax) Northern VA (Fairfax, Prince William, Loudoun, Arlington / Interstate) Richmond, VA (Ashland, Chesterfield, Petersburg, South Hill) Salem, VA (Bedford, Christiansburg, Martinsville, Salem) Stauton, VA (Edinburg, Harrisonburg, Lexington) This is your opportunity to make great money while supporting public safety. Requirements

• CDL Class A/B or valid driver’s license.
• Must be 18+ with reliable transportation
• Availability for overnight/weekend shifts during snow events
• Experience preferred, but training available

Responsibilities

• Operate plow trucks and apply salt/de -icer along designated route.
• Complete vehicle inspections before and after shifts.
• Follow route maps and communicate with dispatchers.
• Maintain safe driving practices during hazardous conditions.
