About The Position

The Driver for the Mobile Unit-CDL is responsible for safely operating and driving CDL vehicles, specifically mobile units or tractor trailers. This role involves transportation and setup of the mobile unit at designated locations in New York and Pennsylvania, ensuring that the unit is functional and presentable at all times. The driver will also perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain logs, and oversee necessary maintenance to ensure safe operating conditions.

Requirements

• Valid CDL A or B driving license with a clean driving record and air brake endorsement.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel across multiple service areas.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Must be able to lift and carry equipment when setting up the mobile unit.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drive the mobile unit to designated locations in NY and PA.
• Setup and break down the mobile unit at each site in a timely and efficient manner.
• Transport the mobile unit between the storage garage and Lourdes Hospital as needed.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
• Maintain accurate logs of vehicle usage, inspections, and any maintenance performed.
• Schedule and oversee necessary maintenance such as oil changes, waste removal, tire checks, and other routine upkeep.
• Wash unit at the end of each day.
• Clean and sanitize the mobile unit floors.
• Ensure the mobile unit is safe, functional, and presentable at all times.
• Maintain checklists and maintenance logs for mobile unit.
• Document any issues or concerns that may arise during operations.
• Register and check-in patients for mammography.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the mobile unit operations.
