About The Position
The Delivery Merchandiser – Small Store Relief CDL is a touch freight position and is responsible for delivering and rotating stock. Also responsible for merchandising shelves, racks, equipment, and displays to Company standards. The role requires a high degree of flexibility to cover open needs of the driver team, transporting and unloading products to retail outlets, and merchandising all products inside the outlet to Company standards. The position works in partnership with the Sales Supervisor to execute the picture of success, establishing positive relationships with all customers while providing superior customer service. Responsibilities include providing feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities, setting up merchandise and sales promotion displays, communicating any store level issues to management, and maintaining rapport with customers. The role also involves accurate accounting for all cases and customer transactions, ensuring proper care of product, equipment, and route settlement daily, and assisting with training and coaching of delivery merchandiser trainees.
