About The Position

Delivery Merchandiser - Full Service Lead CDL is a touch freight position. Job duties include but not limited to directly managing and supervising the daily activities of the Full-Service Drivers. To train Delivery Merchandiser -Full Service to follow all Full-Service processes and procedures. What your day will look like: Follow all Full-Service processes, rules, and requirements not limited to the following: Perform all the daily duties associated with managing Full-Service route personnel, use of applicable computer programs such as SAP, Easitrax and Outlook Manage local Customer relations by providing direct communication and satisfaction Job duties include but not limited to staffing, training, evaluating, and developing team members Always promote safety and make sure all drivers are in compliance with DOT policies, standards, regulations, and guidelines Perform daily functions associated with managing Full-Service route personnel such as issuing keys, money bags, and change funds Assist Area Full-Service Supervisor in executing policies and procedures at every level Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Minimum of 21 years old
Class A CDL required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively in fast-paced environment
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to problem solve
Ability to operate a manual or motorized pallet jack
Ability to respond and resolve to any customer issues
Ability to self-motivate and ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision
