About The Position
The Route Trainee CDL is a touch freight position and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, delivery, stocking, merchandising shelves, racks, and displays in accounts. The position requires unloading and transporting products from the route truck to retail outlets, merchandising all products inside the outlet to company standards, setting up merchandise and sales promotion displays, communicating any store-level issues to management, complying with DOT rules for driving purposes, safeguarding company assets, maintaining rapport with customers, and collecting or picking up empty containers or rejected/unsold merchandise. The ability to work with a handheld device is also required.
