The Delivery Merchandiser – Small Store Trainee CDL is a touch freight position and is responsible for delivering and rotating stock. Also responsible for merchandising shelves, racks, equipment, and displays to Company standards. The role involves transporting and unloading products to retail outlets, merchandising all product inside the outlet to Company standards, and working in partnership with the Sales Supervisor to execute the picture of success. Establishing positive relationships with all customers and providing superior customer service is essential. The position also includes providing feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities, setting up merchandise and sales promotion displays, and communicating any store level issues to management. The Delivery Merchandiser must comply with DOT rules for driving purposes and maintain rapport with customers while ensuring accurate accounting for all cases and customer transactions.
