About The Position

At EGA Spectro Alloys, our drivers play a key role in keeping operations moving safely and on time. This position supports daily production by transporting company freight between facilities and third-party warehouses while maintaining high safety standards and professionalism on the road. This role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented CDL driver who values safety, consistency, and doing the job right. Enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule (no weekends, rare overnights)

Requirements

Valid CDL license (Class A)
Minimum of two years of CDL driving experience with a clean safety record
Strong commitment to safe operations
Ability to follow established procedures
Ability to read, understand, and accurately complete required paperwork and electronic logs
Strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Completion of a professional truck driving program preferred

Responsibilities

Operate a Class 8 tractor pulling a 53-foot dry van trailer
Transfer loads between the Spectro facility and third-party warehouses
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure DOT compliance
Secure and inspect loads using chains and binders
Visit weigh stations and adjust loads as required by regulation
Accurately record delivery times, hours worked, and required documentation
Assist with unloading when needed
Communicate with supervisors and team members using GPS, CB radio, and onboard systems
Follow traffic laws and company safety standards at all times
