About The Position

The CDL-A Driver / Laborer is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles while also assisting field crews with daily labor tasks on construction or telecom job sites. This role requires a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and flexibility to support both driving and hands-on field operations.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• Acceptable driving record
• Construction, utility, or telecom experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 75–100 lbs as needed
• Strong safety-first mindset and reliability
• Willingness to perform both driving and labor duties

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-A vehicles (dump trucks, flatbeds, tractor-trailers, lowboys, etc.)
• Transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
• Secure and verify loads properly
• Assist field crews with general labor tasks when not driving, including: Site setup and cleanup Material handling Trenching, backfill, and restoration support
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and job site requirements
• Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and documentation
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew leads
