About The Position

ReWorld is a leading provider of environmental solutions across industries including manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, food, automotive, municipalities, and more. The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between ReWorld facilities and client sites. This role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment, including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flatbeds, while ensuring compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years old (federal requirement for interstate travel).
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
  • CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement required.
  • Ability to obtain HazMat endorsement within 60 days of hire.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to use a tablet for E-Logs.
  • Knowledge and adherence to DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to designated locations while adhering to scheduled appointments.
  • Ensure proper placarding of vehicles per DOT requirements.
  • Complete and maintain all required paperwork, including manifests, inspection reports, job sheets, expense reports, and timesheets.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of trucks and equipment (tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc.).
  • Secure cargo prior to and during transit.
  • Operate specialized equipment, including PTO-driven systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
