About The Position

The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for shuttling non‑hazardous waste using a straight‑body truck, primarily moving boxes to the TTF. This includes loading and dropping boxes in tight spaces, hooking cables, operating hydraulics, and securing doors. Drivers may occasionally operate roll‑off or tanker equipment as needed. This is a full‑time, home‑daily position with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience.
• Valid CDL Class A.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Ability to use a tablet for electronic logs (E‑Logs).

Nice To Haves

• Tanker and HazMat endorsements preferred but not required.
• Straight‑body or roll‑off experience strongly preferred.
• Van experience preferred over flatbed due to tighter maneuvering needs.
• Preference for drivers without an automatic‑only restriction.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely while following all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Shuttle and transport non‑hazardous materials between facilities, including short‑distance movements to the TTF and periodic longer‑distance runs as needed.
• Load, secure, drop, and maneuver boxes in tight areas using straight‑body equipment and hydraulic controls.
• Complete and maintain documentation, including inspection reports, logs, and job sheets.
• Conduct daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of tires, lights, brakes, fluids, and equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support transportation and facility operations.
