About The Position

Prestage Farms is seeking a Swine Feeder Pig CDL Driver to safely and efficiently load and deliver pigs to various sites. This is a full-time daytime position which consists of Monday through Friday and occasional weekends. This is a local position that allows you to be home every night. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others: Responsibilities Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs Ability to work primarily independently and with others Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (scheduling changes, weather conditions etc.) Applicants should be very nimble and able to load and unload pigs Ability to accurately count pigs and do basic math Ability to read and follow weekly schedules

Requirements

Trucking School Certificate or one (1) year of driving experience
Valid Class A commercial driver’s license
Must be 21 years old or older
Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
ADA REQUIREMENTS: Ability to walk, stoop, bend, climb, repetitive motions, see and distinguish colors, and hear

Responsibilities
