About The Position

As a CDL Driver at Ferguson Enterprises, you will be responsible for delivering materials to customers, which includes assistance with unloading, ensuring delivery of ticket with material, and collecting payment if necessary. You will also pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests as necessary. Daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections are required, along with fueling the truck as needed and reporting any problems or issues to your supervisor. Compliance with all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations is essential. Additionally, you will assist Warehouse personnel with the daily loading and unloading of material from your delivery vehicle as needed.

Requirements

• A valid CDL is required.
• A background in Warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is preferred.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
• General computer skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Experience on or willing to learn Powered Industrial Truck operation.
