CDL Driver (Class A): Local Equipment Deliveries

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license with safe driving record
- Strong knowledge of load securement, chains, binders, and proper weight distribution
- Customer-focused attitude – our drivers are often the face of Leppo to our customers
- Team players who take pride in safety, professionalism, and doing the job right
Nice To Haves
- Experience hauling and securing construction equipment preferred
- Comfortable operating equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, and compact machinery for loading/unloading
Responsibilities
- Safely transport compact construction equipment to and from customer job sites and Leppo locations
- Load and unload equipment using ramps, trailers, and equipment operation when necessary
- Properly secure loads using chains, binders, and tie-downs in compliance with DOT regulations
- Inspect equipment and trailers before and after transport to ensure safe operation
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups
- Communicate with dispatch, rental, and service teams to keep deliveries running smoothly
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and inspection records
