About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our Lumber team. This role is essential to delivering materials to customer job sites safely, accurately, and efficiently. Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Proven experience as a commercial truck driver
- Strong knowledge of DOT and truck-driving regulations
- Ability to drive long hours and adapt to traffic, weather, and job-site conditions
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Comfortable using electronic equipment (GPS, mobile apps, etc.)
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening
- Pass a company background check related to safe driving
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities
- Deliver building materials to customer job sites in a safe and timely manner
- Operate flatbed trucks and safely load/unload materials
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform basic preventative maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently
- Comply with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies
- Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
- Collect, verify, and follow delivery instructions
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly
