We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver to join our team. This position involves transporting goods across state lines, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations.
Requirements
Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record.
Minimum 3 years of verifiable OTR experience.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and electronic logging devices (ELDs).
Ability to drive long hours, work flexible schedules, and adapt to changing routes.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
Lift, carry, and secure freight.
Climb in/out of truck cab and trailer as required.
Responsibilities
Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer on assigned OTR routes.
Transport freight across regional and/or national routes according to schedule.
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks, trip reports, and delivery documentation.
Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws, as well as company policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route progress, delivery updates, and any issues.
Secure freight and ensure proper handling during loading/unloading.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance needs promptly.
