About The Position

Local route Truck Drivers (CDL A or B) are responsible for loading galley equipment onto a truck, driving the truck to various types of aircrafts, and unloading the equipment. Local CDL Truck Drivers usually drive on local public roads, outside of the airport and terminal.

Requirements

  • Current U.S. driver's license.
  • CDL Class A or B is required.
  • Some locations may require a Customs Seal from local airport authority.
  • Must be able to read and write to complete required forms.
  • Effective communication with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Load equipment onto the truck.
  • Drive the truck to the aircraft (Local airport).
  • Load galleys according to customer guidelines (Local airport).
  • Unload dirty equipment and place it in designated area (Local facility).
  • Ensure all activities are accomplished according to customer guidelines and safety regulations.
  • Interact with airline representatives at the aircraft (Local airport).
  • Follow directions.
  • Work as a member of the Transportation team.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
