CMAC is looking for CDL Drivers (A or B required) in our DC Metro region. What You Will Do: As a CDL Driver, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Assists with maintaining warehouse conditions to a high standard of safety, organization, and cleanliness inside and outside facility. Checks documentation for completeness and accuracy. Inspects loads to ensure that cargo is secure. Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage. Maintains logs and other documentation, as required. Follows delivery instructions accordingly. Checks condition of trailers and equipment, reporting any issues immediately. Secures cargo for transport, using provided and required equipment. Follows appropriate safety procedures for transporting goods. Performs basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including emergency roadside repairs. Loads and unloads trucks utilizing a forklift or other equipment. Repairs and maintains tools and equipment. Prepares orders for delivery. Drives trucks, and delivers orders to construction sites. Performs basic computer functions. Assists with the maintenance of the vehicle yard.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of applicable experience delivering equipment.
  • Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Current and valid CDL A or B License
  • Requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record and must comply with DOT and other applicable requirements.
  • Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience.
