About The Position

Adventure Tours, a division of Adventures by Dawn, LLC, is a leading provider of luxury motor coach transportation headquartered in Accokeek, MD. We specialize in providing high-end travel experiences, combining comfort, style, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a CDL Dispatcher to join our Accokeek, MD team. This role is responsible for dispatching drivers, coordinating schedules, communicating with clients, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL (Class B with passenger and air brake endorsements) and experience in transportation or motor coach dispatching.

Requirements

• CDL Class B w/ passenger & air brake endorsements (required)
• Dispatch experience (bus/transportation preferred)
• Clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices
• Proficiency with dispatch/GPS tracking software
• Strong communication & problem-solving skills
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation

Responsibilities

• Create and manage daily driver schedules and routes
• Assign trips based on driver qualifications, availability, and DOT regulations
• Monitor trips using GPS and dispatch software to ensure on-time service
• Communicate with clients and drivers to provide updates and resolve issues
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and CDL requirements
• Step in to drive routes as needed
• Support leadership in improving dispatch operations
