About The Position

The CDL Delivery Driver at Imperial Dade is responsible for safely operating a box truck on a local route, making daily stops to deliver merchandise to customers. Requirements

• A valid commercial driver's license
• Hazmat Endorsement or ability to acquire
• Must have a valid DOT medical card or be able to pass a DOT medical exam
• Good driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• 1 year of lift gate experience
• 1 year of recent Delivery Driver experience
• 1 year of recent CDL experience
• Electric Pallet Jack experience is a plus
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26' box truck or 53' trailer with air brakes
• Load and unload cargo
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
