CDL Delivery Driver

About The Position

We are currently looking for a CDL Delivery Driver to join our Madison, WI team with a start time of 5:00 AM. In this role, you will be be responsible for driving a daytime route, transporting product in a CDL-required truck from our branch located in Madison, WI to other branch locations throughout the state.

Requirements

• Must be 23 years old or older (mandatory federal requirement)
• Valid Commercial Driver License: Class A
• Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights of 20 ft. on a regular basis
• Ability to be trained to use forklifts and other warehouse machinery
• Ability to work on his/her feet including walking for extended periods of time
• Willing to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Drive truck and follow all safety procedures per company policy
• Keep complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries
• Be proficient and perform the proper procedures for performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Provide quality customer service
• Pull product, load and unload trucks when not performing driving duties
• Back up other drivers' routes when needed
• All other duties and special projects as assigned
