About The Position
Velocity Rail Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of A. Stucki Company, is seeking dedicated Company Drivers for local tanker operations. With a history dating back to 1911, Velocity has established long-term fixed contracts with Class I Railroads to fuel and service locomotives using specialized equipment. Our operations run 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring that our drivers have consistent work regardless of the season. We pride ourselves on providing reliable pay, with drivers earning $1,456 weekly, translating to approximately $79,400 annually. Various 12-hour shifts are available, and we guarantee overtime pay, making this an attractive opportunity for those looking for stability in their driving career. As a Company Driver, you will be responsible for transporting red dye diesel, sand, water, and lube oil to fuel and service trains on an on-call basis. Training will be provided for qualified individuals, and you will be paid for all on-duty hours, including breaks, lunches, and wait times for dispatches. Safety is our top priority; you will be empowered to stop work at any time due to unsafe conditions and are expected to follow all safety protocols diligently. This role requires a commitment to maintaining accurate fuel accounting paperwork and conducting pre and post-shift vehicle inspections.
