Requirements

  • Minimum age: 21 years old.
  • Valid CDL License.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to step up 17 inches and climb up to three rungs of a ladder.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-trip inspections, including verifying routes, checking product counts, and completing safety checks in compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
  • Safely drive and deliver customer orders while following all federal, state, and company protocols.
  • Maintain proper load temperatures as specified in product specifications.
  • Unload products by hand or using a hand truck and place items in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify deliveries, obtain signatures, collect payments (when required), and communicate discrepancies or returns.
  • Manage backhauls in accordance with dispatch instructions, jurisdictional compliance, and load efficiency.
  • Complete post-trip tasks, including unloading returns, submitting paperwork and payments, vehicle safety check, and secure parking.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, handling any complaints professionally and effectively.
  • Promptly report accidents, injuries, or equipment damage.
