As a CDL Class A Driver at our Commerce facility, N.A Trading Company , you will be responsible for safely operating a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods over designated routes. This is a local CDL Class A Driver position that requires deliveries to restaurants in Southern California.

  • Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods over designated routes.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's optimal condition, promptly reporting any issues to management.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently using proper lifting techniques, and secure cargo as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure timely completion of all necessary paperwork.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods punctually and addressing customer inquiries or concerns courteously.
  • Adhere strictly to safety regulations, traffic laws, and Hours of Service (HOS) requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and coworkers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record, with no more than 3 points on your license in the last 2 years and no at-fault accidents within the same period.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL driver.
  • Must have completed FMCSA-approved training with demonstrated knowledge of all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
  • Ability to demonstrate safe driving skills and pass a knowledge and skills assessment.
  • A DOT Medical Exam and Medical Examiner’s Certificate is required to confirm physical fitness.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (up to 6 days per week), including weekends and holidays.
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team.
  • Must pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check.
  • The sign-on bonus will be disbursed after the employee has successfully completed 90 days of employment in good standing.
  • In order to retain the sign-on bonus, the employee must remain employed with the company for a minimum of 180 days.
  • If the employee leaves the company prior to reaching this 180-day threshold, the sign-on bonus will be forfeited, and the employee will be required to repay the full amount.
