Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Current Class A Commercial Driver's License.
Minimum of two (2) years verifiable commercial driving experience.
Has one (1) or fewer chargeable or preventable motor vehicle accidents within the year preceding the date of application.
Has one (1) or fewer violations of motor vehicle laws (other than violations involving parking only) within the year preceding the date of application.
Must have all required DOT certifications by hire date to include Tanker Endorsement HazMat Endorsement, and Valid DOT Medical Card.
Must comply facial hair guidelines for respirator usage (clean shaven).

Nice To Haves

Experience with ELD (Electronic Logging Device).
One (1) or more years of experience driving a Cargo Tank.
Experience handling of hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

Pulling a tanker to designated customer/supplier location using designated routes.
Delivering product safely by understanding and following SOP's.
Maintaining a professional appearance for yourself and Bakelite’s equipment.
Adhering to all rules and regulations of both Bakelite and DOT to safely operate company cargo tank vehicles.
Maintaining a clean driving record while providing exceptional customer focus to both internal and external customers.
Safely loading and off-loading chemical products.
Work schedules can include variable start times, weekends, and holidays, according to DOT driver regulations.
