CDL Class-A Local Delivery Route Truck Drivers
About The Position
We are seeking reliable, experienced CDL Class A drivers for local delivery runs. BE HOME EVERY NIGHT! NO WEEKENDS! DeLallo has immediate openings for dependable, experienced CDL Class-A Truck Drivers to efficiently deliver product to customers in a safe, courteous, professional, compliant, and timely manner. These local delivery runs are available for drivers with a clean driving record and a minimum of 1 year commercial driving experience. These runs originate and return to our site in Mount Pleasant PA daily. Local delivery – Pittsburgh and surrounding area – you will be picking up and dropping off packages, interacting with our customers, and possibly deliver in some tight spaces (city).
Requirements
- Commercial driver’s license
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial tractor trailer driving experience
- Clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck in congested areas and backing up to docks
- Observe all local, state and federal laws
- Properly track pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment
- Maintain communication with Dispatch
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Complete all necessary paperwork
- Comply with all applicable Department of Transportation regulations and DeLallo company policies and procedures
- Unload product safely while maintaining the integrity of the product, utilizing carts, hand trucks, and/or pallet jacks
- Reliable with great work ethic
