About The Position
We are seeking a Class A driver to organize, perform, and complete the delivery of commercial bulk and bagged feeds in a safe and efficient manner. The driver will operate the truck in a safe and courteous manner, prioritizing safety in every delivery task. Responsibilities include maintaining the truck, performing pre-trip checks, and adhering to DOT and other regulatory agency requirements. The driver will also be responsible for the cleanliness of the truck, including regular washing and cleaning of both the exterior and interior. Additionally, the driver will load, reload, and assist other drivers in loading as required, inspect hatches, augers, and blowers to ensure they are operational and serviceable, and ensure that feed is unloaded to the proper location or bin. The driver must ensure the accuracy and proper completion of all scale tickets, delivery papers, driver logs, and associated documentation.
