About The Position

We are hiring immediately for the position of CDL Class A Driver at Premium Distributors of Michigan. This role involves the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, ensuring the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers. Drivers will be home daily, starting and ending at the distribution center, with no overnight stays required. The position offers a set schedule of 10-hour shifts from Tuesday to Friday, starting at 6:00 am and working until the route is complete, with weekends off. The pay rate is $26.00 hourly, with the potential to earn up to $65,000 in the first year. Our fleet consists of well-maintained, modern tractors and trailers equipped with all automatic transmissions.

Requirements

• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle and company equipment.
• Courteously deliver products to local customers.
• Unload and deliver products as required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as electric pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
