About The Position

The work of an Airport Driver includes but is not limited to currently holding a CDL-Class A with hazmat endorsements—the ability to drive a tractor-trailer daily to accommodate a busy workload at the airport. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of an Airport Driver - include the following: Transport cargo via 53’ trailer from various types of aircraft to warehouse or warehouse to aircraft while adhering to strict safety regulations. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Class A License
  • Minimum 1-2 years Trucking experience with manual transmission
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Ramp Operations
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Customer focus and quality awareness
  • Ability to deal with conflict
  • Must pass a drug test/ background check and be able to obtain airport security clearance.
  • Must be able to lift to 70 pounds in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods.
  • Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment
  • AGI requires its employees to be able to work flexible schedules, which may be adjusted to meet operational demands such as flight delays, cancellations, adhocs, etc.
  • Applicants must be able to work on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays.
  • Strict adherence to company attendance policies is expected and enforced.
