Summary: Summary Responsible for the safe and reliable transportation of products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Note: Driver/Warehouse will at times be a licensed CDL Driver if needed A. Includes the following (Straight Job Operator) ▪ Valid DOT medical qualification card ▪ Strong overall warehouse knowledge ▪ Forklift/Motorized Pallet Jack experience ▪ Safe operation of company vehicle/ and inspection of equipment ▪ Adhere to necessary insurance regulations to be on the company driver policy. ▪ Ability to work with little Supervision ▪ Very detail oriented Education and/or Experience: ▪ Minimal 4-8 years truck driving experience ▪ Maintain up to date CDL(Commercial Driver’s License) ▪ Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic while working with little supervision ▪ CDL drivers responsible for transporting goods to customers and warehouse, they need to be on the dock when delivering or picking if allowed by the facility ▪ Driver needs to be aware of condition of pallets and product when picking up ▪ Driver needs to make sure all documentation is correct before leaving any location.
Requirements
- Valid DOT medical qualification card
- Strong overall warehouse knowledge
- Forklift/Motorized Pallet Jack experience
