About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Class A CDL Driver to join our team located in Chehalis, WA .â¯This position will start at 3:00pm (PST) Monday-Friday, running 8-10 hours each shift. Drivers will be driving company provided trucks for local deliveries to our customers. The top priority of this position is to deliver Quanex products to customers in the most efficient manner while upholding our expectations of customer service. We Offer You! Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notifies the supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues. Loading and unloading large rolling racks by forklift and individual screens as needed. Transferring empty carts from suppliers to Quanex. Checking truck fluid levels daily. Staging and loading delivery order Follows all standard operating procedures and notifies the supervisor of potential procedural improvements. Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes all documentation related to this position; i.e., driving logs, accurate time keeping, etc. Unload trucks delivering material, verifies the receipt of the goods, and signs packaging slips. Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required license or certification: Class A CDL
Required 2 years truck driving experience
6 months forklift experience; ability to pass OSHA required practical and written exams

Responsibilities

Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notifies the supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues.
